“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1

God has a secret!

King David called it a place1 of God’s protection and a shelter from strife and pride.2 Job, (pronounced with a long “o” and best known for his personal suffering) said it was a place where wisdom lived but that it had only been heard of, never yet discovered.3

The apostle Paul called that place a mystery, hidden for hundreds of years … until NOW! He said he, actually, discovered it and so could we!

He wrote the mystery is found by getting connected, literally, to God through Jesus!

This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you” – Colossians 1:26-27

Not a euphemism, when joined to Christ we become a physical extension of himself — so much so that what we do in our bodies, good and bad, is what we are doing with and to Christ.4

When God looks at us he is seeing an extension of his son. Christ’s payment on the cross for sin, ours5. The Holy Spirit working in Jesus, now working in us. Our debts, his. Our bodies, his. Our needs, his. His closeness to the Father, ours. And when Jesus returns for us we shall be like him.6

This changes everything!

There is a secret society who’s membership spans countries, cultures, and languages. Crossing all social organizations, genders, and churches, overcoming barriers of philosophy and all political parties it can be found anywhere and everywhere. Members can meet for the first time in foreign countries, recognize each other quickly, and form an immediate bond stronger than family!

No, it’s not the Freemasons, the Illuminati, the Rosicrucian’s, or Skull and Bones; those are only poor imitators and impostors. This society is much older and once entered it satisfies completely, filling one with indescribable joy and true pleasure (Psalm 16:11; 36:8).

Yes, it is hidden and has been from the beginning (Ephesians 3:9) but hidden in plain sight, hidden only from the eyes and minds of those who refuse to see it (John 9:39-41; Romans 1:21-22)!

Its teachings are secret but proclaimed openly for all to hear (John 18:20).

The membership is exclusive but that exclusivity is maintained only by the excluded, themselves, for everyone is welcome to join (Revelation 22:17).

What does it take to join? A sense of excitement that stirs with the possibility of experiencing something more, something real in a world that values the false. It takes a willingness to admit need, willingness to let go of sinful desires and one’s own way, a commitment to say “Yes” to Jesus where ever he leads

What an adventure!
