“Prayer comes as natural as breathing when God is the only resources available.” — Judson Cornwall, Praying the Scriptures

“The Bible is often turned to as a source of favorite quotations. It is used as the authority for pop psychology or to undergird a personal philosophy of life. it is dissected, divided, and dispensationalized to fit our way of thinking. I sometimes wonder if God would even recognize His Book the way it is presented in some of our churches.

“The Bible is a record of God’s restoring to humanity what was lost in Eden…the Bible is the Word codified…Christ is the Word incarnate…The Word was given, both in written and living form, to return us to a personal relationship with the almighty God.”

— Judson Cornwall, Praying the Scriptures

Piece of Cake

You are a man, today, Son, enduring hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

I am never forsaking but training you to trust Me through all things. You can’t stay immature forever. You can’t look to others besides me to comfort you or to validate your guidance. My Holy Spirit is your comfort both now and forever. Sure there are times of perplexity but there is more joy in the comfort I give. There is an assurance from faith based on My words and my presence than a whole host of pastors and friends.

I have that place you long for but you can only live in it as you learn to endure. I can’t use you if in the middle you crater and quit on Me. When I put you in the body it will be a piece of cake because you will have already endured the hard stuff.

Let Me stir within you, move on my signals. Don’t let your eye deceive you or cause you to worry. Have you not seen I can make anything out of nothing and can protect mine? Choose to trust. Choose to not be afraid. Smile. Laugh. Be bold in my care.
